Shinji Uga
Shinji Uga is President & CEO of CynosBio, where he leads the Company’s global strategy, U.S. expansion, capital markets activities, and international business development initiatives.
Prior to joining CynosBio, Mr. Uga served as a senior executive and CFO at a pioneering advanced medical technology company, where he played a key role in the company’s IPO, global financing transactions, and strategic M&A activities. He also worked as a venture capitalist focused on healthcare and life sciences investments, supporting approximately 30 growth-stage companies.
Since becoming CEO, Mr. Uga has led CynosBio’s transformation into a globally focused regenerative medicine company, expanding U.S. investor engagement, strategic partnerships, and multinational development initiatives.
He is currently leading the Company’s long-term strategy to build a global specialty biopharmaceutical company originating from Japan, focused on regenerative medicine and unmet medical needs.

Kosuke Ota
Kosuke Ota oversees finance, corporate strategy, governance, and capital markets activities at CynosBio.
Prior to joining CynosBio, Mr. Ota advised on more than 100 M&A and financing transactions at global investment bank and built extensive expertise in accounting, taxation, and corporate management as a Certified Public Accountant.
At CynosBio, he plays a central role in strengthening the Company’s financial infrastructure, governance systems, and global operating framework to support international growth initiatives.

Tomohiro Maruyama
Tomohiro Maruyama has more than 30 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical sales and commercial strategy.
Before joining CynosBio, he held multiple senior commercial leadership positions at Bristol Myers Squibb Japan, contributing to successful product launches and market expansion initiatives in liver disease and oncology.
At CynosBio, he leads commercialization planning and market development initiatives for regenerative medicine products.

Hiroyuki Hosokawa
Hiroyuki Hosokawa leads regulatory affairs, clinical development, and global development strategy at CynosBio.
Prior to joining CynosBio, he spent more than 25 years at Seikagaku Corporation, where he was involved in international business development, global clinical development, and pharmacovigilance activities.
Mr. Hosokawa played a key leadership role in the U.S. FDA approval of Gel-One, an osteoarthritis treatment developed through Japan-originated global clinical development.
At CynosBio, he is leading the Company’s multinational development strategy and future U.S. regulatory initiatives.
